The ‘New Normal’…  useful information to help you prepare for your market visit.

 

We are looking forward to seeing our customers again, but ask that everyone complies with all the safety measures.  Please read the following carefully before visiting.

• Face coverings should be worn at all times within the station and the market areas

• There will be hand sanitising facilities as you enter/leave the market and on individual stalls, as well as several hand wash stations around the market..  please use these.

• Station toilet facilities will NOT be open.  Please plan accordingly!

• There will be a one-way system in operation, both around the station itself and around the market.

• Entry to the market will be from the footbridge end only. There will be no access for pedestrians or vehicles through the River of Life Church carpark to the bottom end of the market. 

• Scotrail have set up a one-way system on each side of the tracks..  Down each platform from the footbridge, and then back up around the outside of the station buildings.

• Stalls will be set up in the centre of the covered area, and there will be a one-way system around the stalls.. though you can go round as many times as you please!

• We will limit the number of customers within the market and then operate a queue system. Scotrail have asked that our queue be outside, beyond the large grey door, into the station pick up/drop-off area. This is to avoid potential conflict with other station users. We anticipate that all our lovely customers will co-operate cheerfully with this.

• All traders should accept payment by card.

• We encourage a ‘click and collect’ approach to speed your visit.
